About these rules

These site rules are the agreement between you and Winplace whenever you open an account, make a deposit or place a bet on this website. They sit alongside our privacy policy and the short terms printed next to each promotion. If a promotion’s own terms say something different from this page, the promotion terms apply to that offer only.

Who runs the site

The casino is operated by Fortaprime SRL, a company incorporated in Costa Rica. Where these rules say “we”, “us” or “Winplace”, they mean that company. No UK Gambling Commission licence has been issued to us, and Winplace accounts fall outside the GAMSTOP self-exclusion scheme. The legal information page has the longer version.

When the rules apply

They apply from the moment you tick the acceptance box at registration and stay in force until your account is closed and any balance has been paid out. A few sections, such as the one on irregular play, still cover activity that took place before the account was closed.

Your account

Age and who can join

Players have to be at least 18, and we may ask for proof of age whenever we need it. An account found to be held by a minor is shut, its deposits are refunded and any winnings are cancelled. You also need to be allowed to gamble online where you live. Checking local law is up to you, although we block sign-ups from countries we know we cannot serve.

One account each

One person, one account. The same goes for a household address, a payment method and a device. Second accounts are usually opened by accident, typically after a forgotten password, so just tell live chat and we will close the spare one. If duplicates are opened to claim the welcome package more than once, we may cancel the bonuses and the winnings that came from them.

Verification

Before your first withdrawal we run a one-off identity check. You send us a photo ID and a document showing your current address, and occasionally a picture of the debit card you paid with, middle digits covered. Most checks are cleared the same day. We may ask again if your details change, or if a payment provider or our anti-money-laundering duties require it.

Keeping your login safe

Your password is yours alone. Bets placed from your account are treated as placed by you, so pick something strong, do not share it and log out on shared devices. If you think someone else has got in, contact us straight away and we will freeze the account while we look into it.

Deposits and withdrawals

Paying in from the UK

The minimum deposit is £20. UK players can pay with a Visa or Mastercard debit card, Skrill, Neteller, Jeton, Paysafecard, Revolut, a bank transfer or one of the cryptocurrencies shown in the cashier. We ask UK customers to use a debit card and never a credit card, in line with the UK ban on gambling with borrowed money. Each payment method has to be registered to you; payments from someone else’s card or wallet are refunded and may lead to a review of the account.

Taking money out

The minimum withdrawal is £20. Once your account is verified, a withdrawal request is normally approved within 8.5 minutes. E-wallet and crypto payouts reach you soon after approval. Bank transfers and debit card payouts need 1–3 working days; your bank sets the exact pace. Whenever we can, winnings return to the payment method that funded the account.

Deposits that have not been played through at least once may be held back until they have been, which is a standard anti-money-laundering step. Fees your own bank charges, for example on currency conversion, are outside our control.

Welcome package and other offers

How the four steps work

The welcome package is spread across your first four deposits. For each step, pay in £20 or more and leave the bonus box ticked at the cashier; no code is involved. Free spins from each step are added on a named slot, which the offer page shows before you deposit.

Wagering and time limits

An unclaimed bonus waits in your account for 3 days. Once claimed, you have 7 days to wager it 40x. Miss the deadline and the bonus is taken off your balance together with its winnings; your own deposit is left alone. Every slot stake counts in full. Table and live games may count only partly or not at all, as the offer terms set out. A maximum bet applies while a bonus is active; it is shown in the cashier next to the bonus.

Other promotions

Lucky Spin, Lucky Box, the Bonus Shop, Purr-fect Wins tasks and tournaments each carry short terms of their own. Codes for some offers appear inside your account under Promotions. We can change or end a promotion, but anything already credited keeps the terms it was given under.

Fair play

What counts as irregular play

We look out for bonus abuse, collusion at live tables, software that plays on your behalf, and patterns such as switching to tiny, low-risk bets purely to clear wagering. If we find it, we may void bonus winnings and, in serious cases, close the account. We will tell you what we saw and give you the chance to explain before anything final happens.

Game faults

If a game breaks down, that round is cancelled and your stake comes back. We rely on the game provider’s record of what happened. An obvious error, such as a payout far above the game’s stated maximum, does not create a right to that amount.

Closing an account and changes

Closing your account

Whenever you decide to leave, live chat or an email to our support address will do it. Money you can withdraw is sent to you before the account closes. Leaving because gambling is causing problems? Say so, and we will set up a self-exclusion rather than an ordinary closure. The responsible play page explains the difference.

When we change these rules

We update the rules now and then. Material changes are shown at your next login and you are asked to accept them before you play again. The revision date beside the page title tells you which version you are reading.

Complaints and governing law

If you disagree with a decision we have made, the contact page sets out how to complain. Costa Rican law governs these rules. That choice does not remove any consumer rights you have at home that cannot be set aside by contract.
